9/28/2008  Hero's in Wichita, Kansas Not to be confused with Hero's in Warrensburg Missouri. Hero's in Wichita was one of the first sports bars in the city. It opened in Old Town right when the city started turning the area into a hot spot. As with anything good or fun in Wichita, the entire area met with a huge amount of resistance. Yeah, it's a hard city to love. The wings were good. I couldn't tell if the wings were fresh or not. But as there was only one other bone-in chicken item on the menu I have to say, not. I don't count off for that, but I do give points to people that take the time to go fresher. Sauce was pretty standard. Hint of sweetness and garlic tells me it was probably mixed on site.
